Jenson Button is looking forward to returning to Spa, the home of the Belgian Grand Prix.

The 2009 Formula One World Champion won the last race in Belgium, but the Brit is not expecting to repeat that feat this season.

The 2012 McLaren was one of the fastest cars on the grid last season, Button won three races last season, whilst then team-mate Lewis Hamilton picked up four victories.

This season however has been a frustrating one for McLaren, the team have never found the pace in their new 2013 car, with Button’s best finish of the season to-date a fifth place in China.

‘We don’t go to Spa with the package to win, but I’ll still be making the most of every single lap around this place – it’ll still feel incredible,’ Button told Sky Sports.

He continued: ‘The thing about Spa is that it just feels awesome to nail a quick lap around there – you need a car that’s perfectly synced to the driver, because it’s such a long lap, and there are so many big corners, that you need to find that perfect balance. And getting the set-up right – and running flat-out for nearly two minutes – feels incredible.

‘I think back to my victory there last year – I had pretty much the perfect weekend – my car was fantastic, I got pole position and just led the whole race. It was one of the most satisfying wins of my career just because I felt strong and confident for the entire weekend.’

So who will find that form this weekend? Will it be Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel? Could it be Ferrari and Fernando Alonso? Or will it be Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes?

It’s great to have Formula One back isn’t it?
