De la Rosa joins Ferrari

Ferrari have signed veteran Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa to their development driver line-up.

The Spaniard of course raced last season for HRT, but with that team now dead and buried after years of financial struggle, De La Rosa will be using his vast knowledge and experience as a test driver for McLaren to help Ferrari improve their simulator.

Ferrari have also now confirmed that their launch date for their 2013 challenger will be on February 1st at their Maranello headquarters.
