The speculation regarding drivers seats appears to have kicked off early this season with Ferrari at the centre of the speculation.

The biggest move in Formula One last year saw the departure of two-time Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso quit Ferrari early in favour of a move to McLaren Honda.

Alonso was then replaced by four-time Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel who himself quit Red Bull Racing after a disappointing 2014.

Vettel signed a multi-year deal when he made the move to Ferrari so his seat is safe, but team-mate Kimi Raikkonen’s future appears to be in the balance.

Ferrari hold a one year option on the 2007 Formula One World Champion, but have announced that they will defer their decision in a bid to motivate the Finn.

Many in the paddock thought this was so they could try and tempt two-time title holder Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes, but now it has emerged that Williams driver Valtteri Bottas could be an option for Ferrari.

Suggestions that a pre-contract agreement for 2016 have been denied, but Bottas has confirmed that he is out-of-contract at the end of 2015.

?I saw some of the stories and sometimes they are quite funny to hear about because l know what the case is and what isn?t, There are a lot of people making up stuff. The fact is at the moment l am just focusing this season and getting the maximum for us at the team. The rest, I don?t know yet.? he told the media after arriving in Spain.

?I don?t have anything for next year, But I?m not really thinking about it, it?s for my management. Personally, all l can do is focus on this moment and this season. That?s the best thing for my future as well. I?m not thinking about any move at the moment.?
