Ferrari will be sporting a new front wing in Russia and will be boosted by developments to their engine.
The new front wing has been fast-tracked by Ferrari as they firmly believe the Maranello based team will benefit from the aerodynamic improvement.
The new wing will be available for both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
Ferrari are also set to use three of their remaining engine tokens for improvements to the V6 Turbo-Hybrid power-unit in a bid to improve performance and reliability issues.
motorsport.com have suggested the changes to the power-unit are to improve the combustion of the engine.
They explained: ‘The modifications should allow it to raise the compression ratio inside the cylinder ? which will lead to increased exhaust gas flow that will help the turbo perform better.’
It is hoped these modification will provide a double whammy for Ferrari, not only increasing horsepower, but also improving the efficiency of the Energy Recovery System.
The one negative for Ferrari however is that Kimi Raikkonen will move on to his second power unit, whilst Sebastian Vettel will move to his third.
In the 2016 Formula One World Championship all drivers are limited to five power-units before being hit by penalties.
