After three rounds of the 2016 Formula One World Championship everything has gone perfectly for Nico Rosberg.

On the back of winning the final three races of the 2015 Formula One World Championship, Rosberg has now won the first three races of the season, extending his winning streak to six races.

He is now the most winningest driver in Formula One history to not win a championship.

But is that about to change in 2016?

With Lewis Hamilton struggling in the opening three races, Rosberg has now amassed a 36 point advantage over Hamilton.

That’s a bigger advantage than Rosberg has ever held over Hamilton.

So does Nico Rosberg feel like he has the upper hand in 2016?

‘Quite the contrary. My team mate is Lewis Hamilton, and he has been the benchmark for the last two years.

‘The points gap is like nothing, if you consider all the points still up for grabs this year. It’s a couple of races’ difference.
Rosberg told formula1.com.

‘It will always be a tough battle against him. He’s as focused and motivated as ever; he will never give up.’

‘It’s too early to make any summaries. It’s three races now and they’ve gone really well for me, but it’s the longest season in F1 history with 21 races so that’s 18 to go.

‘It would not make sense to make any premature conclusions.
