Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has been honoured by the Queen.
The 39-year-old has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for his services to motorsport.
A shocked Horner said: ‘It’s all a bit unexpected. Incredible really. I’m naturally shocked, but I just feel very honoured and privileged to receive it.
‘To be in the company of men and women who have achieved such great things for the country is something very, very special.
‘This is right up there with what I have achieved in motorsport.’
With Horner’s help, with him the team principle of Red Bull since 2005, the team has won the constructors championship for the past three seasons.
