He may well have retired from Formula One, again, but Felipe Massa is still backing his former team Williams to enjoy a better season in 2018.
The 2017 Formula One World Championship proved to be the Williams teams worst season for a number of years.
The combination of Lance Stroll and Massa accumulated just 83 points with a best finish of third at the bizarre Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Whilst Williams did maintain their fifth place finish in the Formula One constructors championship, it was a backward step in comparison to recent seasons.
In fact it has been four consecutive seasons of their points tally diminishing.
‘I saw the new car in the wind tunnel and I saw so many changes that look quite interesting,’ Massa told motorsport.com.
‘Everybody is working. Maybe you get to the first race and everybody has so many different changes and everything in the car.
‘The car looks a lot more aggressive. It looks a lot different so I believe maybe they can improve.’
