For the first time this season a McLaren driver is not the favourite for the race win according to the VitalF1.com users.
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have previously been the favourites amongst our readers going into a race weekend, but for the Bahrain Grand Prix a Mercedes has come out on top.
However it isn’t Nico Rosberg who topped the poll after winning his first race last weekend in China, it is his team-mate seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher.
27% of the votes cast believe that Schumacher will win his 92 Grand Prix and first for Mercedes on Sunday. Lewis Hamilton with 24% is second favourite ahead of team-mate Jenson Button with 20%.
Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg both took 10% with Kimi Raikkonen taking 5%.
The Red Bull’s of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber again remained un-fancied with both drivers taking just 2% each.
