The Iceman Kimi Raikkonen has never been one to publicly show any kind of emotion.
So when he was asked about his Formula One future, unsurprisingly the Finnish driver wasn’t exactly forthcoming.
The 2007 Formula One World Champion at the age of 35-years-old is now the oldest driver on the F1 grid.
He enters the 2015 Formula One World Championship in the final year of his current contract, although there does appear to be some form of performance related clause which could trigger a new deal.
?There is an option on the contract. It?s up to me, up to the team to do a good job this year. If it goes badly and I don?t sign it, then I don?t sign it. It?s not the end of the world,? Kimi told Sky Sports.
He was actually far more enthusiastic about teaming up with four-time Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel as his new team-mate for 2015.
He continued: ?We have a good relationship and can push the team forward, Obviously we try to beat each other on the circuit, but I?m sure we will have some fun. The atmosphere already in the team is very good and hopefully we get some good results this year. That will only help the situation.?
