Red Bull duo looking forward to Singapore

Red Bull Racing are really optimistic of their chances under lights at Singapore.

Red Bull Racing took their engine penalties in Monza to optimise their chances in Singapore.

On the surface, Singapore is the kind of circuit that should favour both Ferrari and Red Bull over the power circuits that better suit both Mercedes and their customer teams.

If Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen can challenge for the podium places, then it could really mix things up in the 2017 Formula One title race. Just three points currently seperate new leader Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.

?I believe Singapore won?t be our only chance but is one of our best chances of a win in the second half of the season. Ricciardo told formula1.com.

?I?ve started second and finished second at this track in the last two years, with fastest lap both times, so my aim this year is definitely to start on pole and try to go one better in the race.?

Team-mate Max Verstappen added: ?I?m looking forward to getting to Singapore as it?s always a special weekend. The race has been a strong one for us in the past and I think we should be able to challenge for a podium this year.
