The Renault team have now confirmed that they will make a change to their driver line-up for the Belgian Grand Prix.

As expected Bruno Senna will replace Nick Heidfeld in the team.

The BBC expect the change to remain in place for the final eight races of the 2011 Formula One season.

Heidfeld is currently eighth in the Formula One World championship, two points ahead of team-mate Vitaly Petrov, but the team were not satisfied with the Germans performances, although conspiracy theorists would also be quick to point out that both Bruno Senna and Vitaly Petrov bring millions of pounds worth of sponsorships to the team.

The announcement ends speculation which began at the end of July when Senna replaced Heidfeld for a Friday practice session.
