Michael Schumacher has returned home after leaving hospital.
The former seven-time Formula World Champion health is reportedly slowly improving, with the latest news confirming that he will continue his recovery at home.
Schumacher had been in a coma since he suffered a severe head injury skiing on Sunday 29th December 2013.
Over the following few of months, Schumacher had undergone two operations to remove blood clots from his brain in a bid to reduce swelling.
The former Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari and Mercedes driver had remained at the French hospital in Grenoble throughout his treatment, but following news that he was out of his medically induced coma in June, the German was moved to the University Hospital in Lausanne in Switzerland.
Schumacher will only be moving 25 miles to his family home on Lake Geneva, whilst his manager Sabine Kehm confirmed that whilst Schumacher had made ‘progress’, there was still ‘a long and difficult road ahead’.
