It would seem that Force India are no closer to confirming their 2013 driver line-up with both Adrian Sutil and Jules Bianchi set to test in Barcelona.

News broke last week that Adrian Sutil had a seat fitting for Force India, which made it pretty obvious that he would be in line for a Formula One test in Barcelona.

With Force India the only team yet to confirm their drive line-up for the 2013 season, with Paul Di Resta not knowing who his team-mate will be following the departure of Nico Hulkenburg to Sauber. It had been thought, or perhaps presumed that this test session at Circuit de Catalunya would provide some answers.

But it appears not.

Paul Di Resta is set to test the new Force India car during the first two days [Tuesday & Wednesday] of the session before Adrian Sutil takes the keys of the new Mercedes-powered VJM06 on day three [Thursday].

But on Friday he then passes the driving over to Frenchman Jules Bianchi.

The team insist that the drivers are not competing for the race seat and are simply just helping the team out during winter testing.

‘It’s not a shoot-out,’ said a team spokesman to the BBC. ‘It’s two drivers helping the team with this week’s test.’

But it would seem that it is a straight fight between these two drivers for the final slot on the 2013 Formula One grid and if one can improve with pace behind the wheel, while also giving good feedback to the team, then perhaps the job will be theirs?

An interview at 200mph if you will.
