Red Bull have confirmed their driver line-up for the 2012 season.

With Sebastian Vettel who is set to seal back-to-back Formula One titles on a long term contract with the team, the speculation over who would be his team-mate next season has been interesting over the past few months.

But that speculation was ended at the weekend when the team confirmed that Australian Mark Webber would stay with Red Bull for 2012.

‘I still think I’m driving well and the team is performing to a very high level. I enjoy racing against these guys at the front and I’d miss that a lot.’ Webber told the BBC.

The question now is whether Mark Webber has accepted that he is the teams number two driver behind Sebastian Vettel, or whether Red Bull have given the 35-year-old some reassurances that the team are operating a two-car team.

Webber is second in the driver standings behind team-mate Vettel, the German holds a 92-point lead over his team-mate, while Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso is third, 10-points behind Webber.
