After seven different winners from the first seven races in the 2012 Formula One World Championship, Fernando Alonso became the first driver to win two races this season in Valencia.

He needed a bit of luck to beat Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel and Lotus driver Romain Grosjean who both were forced to retire with Renault alternator problems.

But the Ferrari looked after its tyres well in the closing stages and the Spaniard completed an emotional Grand Prix on the top step of the podium for the first time in Valencia.

This weekend the British Formula One fans will be hoping for a home winner of their own with British duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button surely in contention for the victory?

Will they take their own second wins of the season? Or will someone else manage to spoil the party? To have your say, vote using the panel to the side of this article.
